WHAT WE PROVIDE

The Snoqualmie Valley Youth Activities and Community Center Association offers outdoor oriented non-profit youth organizations a secure, affordable space to meet to allow their programs to thrive and grow within the local community.

Supporting the future of outdoor recreation and education

The Snoqualmie Valley Youth Activities and Community Center Association can help non-profit youth organizations:

PROVIDING AN ENVIRONMENT TO SUPPORT RICH OUTDOOR YOUTH PROGRAMS IN THE COMMUNITY

ALLOWS EMERGING YOUTH PROGRAMS TO FOCUS ON THEIR PROGRAM INSTEAD OF FACILITIES

Adequate On-Site Facilities for Youth Programs

The SVYAC provides a facility which addresses the needs for multi-gender youth group-focused activities including outdoor education and organizational meetings. The 2500 SF meeting lodge provides open space meeting area able to accommodate up to 108 people and 22 parking spaces. The lodge includes a kitchen area, open space for group meetings, multi-gender bathrooms and other environmental aspects such as A/V, heating and electrical support.

Adjacent to Outdoor Areas

The SVYAC property has adequate, adjacent outdoor space to support the various activities which are typical to youth and outdoor-related organizations or programs. These activities include outdoor cooking, camping demonstrations, recreational games, small-scale orienteering activities, building of primitive structures, cycling repair and other activities which lend themselves to outdoor environments. Having nearby and exclusive access to the organization using the facility is a key element towards delivering a quality youth program. Our open space is immediately adjacent to the facility for enhanced youth safety, providing safe access the outdoor spaces provided by the Snoqualmie Valley Trail, Meadowbrook Farm and Tollgate Farm properties.

Proximity to Local Community

The primary goal of the SVYAC is to provide services to the youth and outdoor programs within Snoqualmie Valley and surrounding communities. The Snoqualmie Valley’s location within the center of Mountains to Sound Greenway and proximity to public lands makes this area an ideal location for a base of operations for these programs. Over the years, the organizations who leveraged the facility hosted audiences which included the entire Snoqualmie Valley community including Preston, Fall City, Snoqualmie, North Bend and Snoqualmie Pass residents. The outdoor spaces provided by the SVYAC include direct access to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail, Meadowbrook Farm and Tollgate Farm properties.
